oil additives and capacity

Just a few questions...

How much oil should I put in my KA24DE (when also changing oil filter)?
How much oil should I pour in the oil filter before screwing it on?

When using oil treatments, should I put in the full normal amount of oil and also add the treatment? Or should I put in a little less oil to make up for how much of whatever else is poured in?

I've heard some say not to use engine treatments at all, even in higher mileage engines (mine has 150k)... Why is that?

Thanks

4 quarts
and u do not pour any oil into ur filter all u do is grease up the rubber ring by dippin ur finger n rubbing a bit on it

when addin treatments use less oil u dont want too much of anything in ur engine that can cause problems

i dunno wut to say about the treatments if anything jus go try out seafoam treatments

Yep, 4 quarts is what is used and as sr said, dont pour oil in the filter just put a little oil around the ring. Havent used oil treatments, nor do I know anyone that has...but engine treatments(Seafoam)has done great things to my friends rides.

Thanks, could you tell me a bit more about Seafoam? This is the first I've heard of it. Where do you get it?
