Is it possible?!?

I've heard stories that it's possible to change a KA24E engine into a KA24DE engine, I'm not too sure what needs to be changed but if n-e one knows if this is true let me know. thanks againin advance

Dante

p.s. If it is possible how is it done?

Change the head, thats it. But, it's not as easy as it sounds. From what I know, there are some modifications needed to fit the DOHC head on right.

If you want more info I suggest checking out NICO.

Moved to n/a

because the E piston will give you higher compression. but I wonder what would the spec be? has anyone does this and let us know how many hp and torque should we expect?

You know how high of a compression you're getting though? It's somethign around 11:1. That's pretty high if you ask me.
