haha, i dont even know if this junkyard has a 240. we'll see. there is a little company in minneapolis, that has 4 zenki's to part out, and i asked for a quote on a manual tranny, and a bunch of other crap, and they are asking 450 just for the transmission, and 85 for the power window motors... each. its horrid. and like 40 for the radio bezel trim, and i forget what they wanted for tails, but it was almost cheaper to get new after market kouki tails.

I've seen an actual "intercooler" intake, some ricer part on E-bay. Unless the design is efficent, there really isn't any point. You might as well go with a cold-air intake, but even then, the gains are minimal at best.

There is a big difference between just an intake and an actual intercooler.

Intercoolers improve volumetric efficiency by increasing the amount of charge in the engine and lowering charge air temperature, thus increasing power and reliability.

Air Intakes DO slightly increase the air volume that enters the engine, but it only affects power due to the fact that typical aftermarket intakes aren't as small in diameter and are less restrictive than stock.

yea ive seen that n/a ic kit on ebay. meh i dont really see it helping out on n/a due to the fact that an intercooler is desgined to cool hot air coming from the exhast side through the hot pipe( lol n/a doesnt use a turbo so its pointless) n/a guys run itbs, no filters, velecity stacks, at WOT at all times. lol teh big dogs. they own all.

haha, i was just wondering if you could cool your intake air just a little with it to get a little power gain. but i guess it would be less restricting to go with just plain itb's with no filters. hah.
