Re Build on an E HOW MUCH$$$$

The engine got cooked it has 180,000 got to do both top and bottom. Price if I do it at home anyone? New Bearings, Rings, Chain, and Pump. The DR. has an Engine but it's far away.

might be better off buying a new engine with less miles. and rebuild that if you like.

yeah, i'm grabbing a spare DE, and rebuilding that, in case I mess it up, lol.
kit without the timing kit or oil pump is only like $350, but thats a lot. Used engines are good, lol. If taken care of.

yea and at advanced auto or autozone the timing kit aint but like $80 or so
