Relocate Battery for intake??

I read on another post somewhere around here it provides alot more hp and tq if you relocate the battery to the oppisate side and then rout the intake to the passenger side and make it cold air. Has anyone done this, how hard is it? and if anyone has pictures that would be fantastic!

thanks

It makes sense because you are shortening the track that your intake air has to travel. Shorter and colder.

You can move your battery to your trunk for balance and to make room in your engine bay. I will be doing so this winter and installing a kill switch on my rear end next to the 240sx sticker.

on www.**********/atlanta Look at the members cars, some of them have it. Relocate the battery to the back, makes more sense if u have a s14 specially. It was my post you saw by the way, lol. You have to cut a hole in the battery platform but whatever. Its also a big space saver.

Summit might be better. I say that cause my local Home Depot and Lowes suck.

extend the +12v wire to the trunk and ground the battery in the trunk or have the battery grounded in the back and the engine. also good too put the battery in box so the fumes don't get to you and eat the trunk.

i don't think the instructions get more complicated that that.

i suppose you could ground 4 in the trunk and extend 2 up into the engine bay.
