removing upper tensioner?

removing upper tensioner?
my timing chain is rattling and i wanted to try to remove the upper tensioner, but what does it look like and how do you get to it.?

any help

Pull the valve cover off, and its held on with one bolt. Its a little metal peice directly over the chain.
