2 very common problem among s13's with those exact same symptoms. One, check the resistance between the negative terminal and an unpainted body screw, if it is over 2 ohms you are not grounded correctly. It's possibly you didn't re-connect one of those grounding wires when you did the swap, this is common like I said. Another very common problem among the KA's is the MAFS failing. Try taking it out and spraying it with some electrical cleaner, if that doesn't work you may want to replace it all together. I suggest doing this before worrieng about your valves, it could be something simple like these.

I just got the verdict from the dealership. They claim that there is a head gasket failure. Coolant, leaking into the motor causing it to over heat to the point on stalling.

They said the could tell by simply looking into the radiator.

There are no signs of failure on the outside of the motor, and they aren't willing to take the head off without charging me labor.

From here, I'll accept the idea that what they are telling me is true, and take the lose.

its ok.. about the erroneous post

I have another issue that might have to do with the 5k issue. When I get on and off the gas it jerks and bounces a bit more then it should. If i jab the throttle its real bad. Im sorry i've never used electrical cleaner, do they have that at hardware stores? Thanks

haha no idea huh? **** is wierd.. My car is getting really slow. When I pull the MAF the car bogs down and wont accelerate, just to test if it was working. Car hesitates while accelerating in first and second and its about half as fast as it should be. The car chatters even though it has a cut flywheel and brand new clutch.. The wierd this is that it only chatters and bucks wen its warm.. Wen its somewhat cold it doesnt do this. Anyone? I'm lost right now. thanks.
