i've been doing some research on safc piggy back system and i'm planing on using one to tune my e after my rebuild. what i need to know is how to wire it in to my ecu and i also need some sort of data logger so that i can see egt's at differant rpm's so that i can tune it, or does the safc II have a data logger bilt into it?

 

The SAFC comes with ECU reference wiring diagrams... and shows which wire needs to be connected to which ECU output... I'm sure you can cross-reference this with a KA24E ECU pinout diagram easily

Oh - and as far as I know there's no built-in datalogger. I think tha Power FC does that stuff (but it's $$$$ more)

 

so what kind of data logger can i get for not to much $$$

 

man those things aren't cheap. Try searching the web for "racing datalogger" you'll get some results to check out.

 

i'm sure allot of people hear have safc's how do you guys tune yours?
