SBC in a 240?

So I'm sitting here thinking and I'm wondering if a SBC can be put into a 240? I know I'd have to rig up an extra speedo and tach but would it work just to power the car? And spare me the flaming if you had been through what I have with this ****ing KA then you would consider this too.

It will fit, LS1's fit in there very nice. Probably wouldn't be that hard wiring wise. Custom mounts, and maybe a crossemember and cut the driveshaft. Nothing hard at all.

I thought about it as well, I've had it with the wiring problems in my car.

i've seen a small block in alot of cars, one of them being a s13.

for the right amount of money you can put just about any engine in any car.
