Question hybrid ka24/ca18

wil the block/head of a ca18 fit on a ka24 rwd car trany??
i heard some where that , the stock trany of the ka24e /de fits on a ca18 block
my freind has a pulsar 88 with ca18de twin cam , i have a 89 sohc trany from a 240sx wil these 2 fit?

i'm not sure if that will work, but i have heard of people swapping the head off of a KA24de, and putting it on to the KA24e. apparently the horse increase is really good, and it has awesome torque. this is suppost to give you something like 11 to 1 compression, so you will have to use 91 or higher octane.

its not hybrid ka24e to ka24de , im talking about , ca18 block and hrad with a ka24e TRANSMISSION

im pretty sure the ka24 trans will fit on the ca18 as long as you use the ca18 bell housing

the tranny from the ca/sr/and KA are all the same, i believe. if i am wrong, correct me.

ca18= 1.8L
ka24=2.4L

Bell housing on the SR is different.
But they all use the same gear box.
5th gear on the CA is a bit more peppy than the sr/KA 5th gear.
