Spray

Well i am new to the forums so i dont know much about the ka24de or the ka24e. i was wondering big of a shot could you use on one of these engines. i have a 50 shot on my car right now and seems to be doing just fine with no ignition play. also if you have to use an ignition system which one do you recommend?

Jim

if this is one an e engine and you havent moded the ignition or fuel systems yet your pry running extremly lean but your ecu/engine doesnt have a knock sensor so its not retarding timing at all even if its running lean. actually if you've got a good nitros system then it sould plug into your ecu and adjust everything acordingly.

i think a 50 shot is as high as you should go on a ka with a dry kit. i THINK i read people doing 70-80 but i wouldn't trust it. expecally on an old engine with a crap load of miles.

should be safe then, if engine is in good shape. i been looking around for a 50 wet shot for me. figure it can hold me off until i can afford a engine swap.
