Never done it before on a KA, but the towel and a hammer doesn't sound like a great idea... But if it works, whatever.... I am just wondering that if you have to pound the old one out, how hard is it to get the new one in?

Well, it is a pain in the a**. The dumb thing is under the car. And of course there is like 3 inches of working space. Right now it is jammed against my sway bar and everything else. So far I have worked for 3 hours and nothing.

Well, I unjammed it and pushed it towards the front by the radiator. Then moved two hoses right by there. With a little swearing and persuasion, it popped out and fell on the ground. Now, I am absolutly loathing how big a pain in the a** it is gonna be to put a new one in. Oh yeah, it is completely seized up, prolly the reason why it aint chargin

Well, I got the dumb thing done at 2:30 in the morning. The 240 works like a charm. Had my buddy with small hands and arms help me.
