Sweet Deal and Quick Question
I was wondering how much you guys would pay for a port and polished KA24DE motor if you were in the market. I happened to come accross a sweet deal and went a head with it. I bought a completely worked KA24DE (bored .40, port and polished, ya know the whole nine yards) but besides this full engine I bought it came with a lot of extra parts, a second head that is worked the same way and so many misc. parts like 2 valvetrains and 3 sets of came! I got all this for really cheap and if you want to know it was 400 bucks! That is all! So my N/A 240sx should be running mid to high 200s. This engine was tested without any other mods like headers and what not that I have at 245 to the WHEELS!!!! So I should have a N/A monseter with all the standard boltons that I have. But how much would you pay for the cylinder head because I am thinking about selling it.

Automotive machine shops. There should be a lot of places around that do race machining expecially on cylinder heads. But if you get one of the race ones that is where you get your block bored.

Ok about that motor. It came out of a 93 and I have a 95 that it is going into. I checked the throttle bodies and they are just a little bit off stock. Does anyone know the stock bore on a 93 KA24DE? I am going in with a caliper and measuring it out. If the motor isn't bored, I am not buying. The cylinder heads are supposidly worked but of course I can't tell if that is true without ripping the valves out and checking the seats. If you know another way to check that please let me know. I still have not paid for it but I don't even know if I should now. Because if the throttle bodies are not bored out at least 3mm, the engine might not have been touched to go over something that important when working an entire motor.
