20 deg. And, the timing marks are on the crank pulley, NOT the belts.

Are you smoking crack? According to the S13 DOHC FSM, stock timing is 20 deg +- 2 degrees.

DO NOT give out false information....

Yeah, wow is right. First of all, I'm not talking to you like I know you. I'm talking to you like you are giving wrong information, which you did. If you would PAY MORE ATTENTION, you would have seen that he drives a 1991 Nissan 240sx.

So, back off...

Don't get mad at me because YOU'RE a moron.

I am sorry to bring back this old thread.

But i would have asked it anywayZ.

So is the stock timing 15 or 20 on a Ka24de ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

I searched before, and found that it should be at 20 btdc.

BUT TODAY:

my Friennd Cr8zydrifter came over, and ON HIS HOOD there was an OEM STICKER
that said THE TIMING SHOULD BE SET AT 15 ? ? ? ? ??

Whats up with this?

his is a KA24DE.

ok...so I just walked out in my damn jammies to look under the hood of my 1996 Nissan 240sx SE, and the California State Emissions label said that the Ignition timing is supposed to be 20 degrees BEFORE top-dead center....now come over here and wash my previously freshly washed socks...

sorry dude! lol

I searched and I kept getting that same answer.

But i have to take a closer look at my friend's sticker.

it surprised me!

The hood matches the body pretty good so i don't think it is from an older s13!

and mine didn't have a sticker at all.
