timing chain guides=me screwed

the chances are that it is shreded... and fell all the way to the pan... there is very little chance that it will sit in the bottem of the front cover... the way the chanes are there is no room for it to sit... but there is room for it to drop all the way into your oil pan... if it got thin enough to brake then there most likley will not be any big pieces of it left...

ramnailz... no rtv on the tensioner... i think you heard that one already...

Yeah thanx wikd240, there's somebody else who had the same problem and he started a thread saying he found it. you should look for it and ask him what he had to do. I got another question, whats the chain behind the timing chain called? And if I do need to replace my timing chain, is it a pain in the *** or is it simple to do? Anyone know?
