tops out at 112?!?

WELL over 120 could be like 127... well the fuel cut is at 115, so that's only 12 MPH... If you had gone 140 I'd say you're right.
Either way, I don't know, I've always been told the auto's dont have fuel cut, even on the SR ECU's, but then mine did, so I'm skeptical about what people actually know based upon experience/what they've read.

Don't do this on stock suspension........ I read it before but didn't pay atention. This is what happened. My shocks are gone. I had that stupid 80$ coilovers from ebay on and they wavel (move arround) on their own base. On top of that when I took the shock off, it came down on it self. I had to pull it to get it high enough so it could be installed. This is how bad they were. Then i Put premium gas in my car on a street racing night just for the fun . I Found that the car goes a litle bit faster, but how much faster woudl it go since I have that limiter off? Well I was on the highway and this guy in a prelude pases me by while racing a focus, so I said to myslef " I can catch up and beat them both cuz I have no limit, and I have premium fuel" so I go accelelrating and I pass them both at 125, then There's two cars, one in one lane, one in the other. So I'm going for the cut, since I'm going 125 and there's like 10 feet from car to car, one ahead of the other. So I go. Bam! I do the cut. then I steer back ,and I feel like the car is going on butter, then I look back And I see smoke, My car is drifting at 100+. Now I'm going arround in circles on the highway, doing 360, and I go off road, into the gras, even more sliping in the grass, keep going arround. I tought that I would be in the news tomorrow. Then the car starts jumping cuz of the bumps on the grass, then I go into the highway again and the sudden grip tear off my 4 tires like they were made out of bread, and my rims scratch the surface. Then I keep goin off raod and finaly stop. My first concers is that a Cop won't be near to give me couple of dozens of tickets. Then the guy in the prelude stops and says " yo dude, your some crazy motherf*ker, I wish I had a video camera to record you". And So I called my friends and I got home with one RX7 tire, One eclipse, and one toyota corolla tires and my spare.
Moral: Don't try extreme stunts on shocks that compress themselves. and don't buy no 80$ suspension from Ebay

Amen to that. I'm glad to hear you came out pretty much unscathed... that would have been pretty badass to see, a 100+ mph drift... only in wet dreams would you see that in life without going to a drift competition.. but a nightmare when your tires rip off while in the drivers seat during the wet dream drift. What kind of tires were they, i gotta remember not to buy those lol. But eBay has some cheap s**t, so i would only buy brand name stuff there, but its a lot cheaper. For instance, im gonna pick up a set of tein lowering springs for less than $120. Anyways, coilovers suck no matter what... i would stick to something more reliable

Governor bypass doesn't work!!!!!!!!! Tried it and the digital speedo to my 91 doesn't work, niether does the RPM gauge......
Now it just guzzles gas in 5th gear.........
ECU also throws a code, what a load of hocus pocus!!!!!!!!!!
I'm buying an HKS SLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol i knew what you meant when you said you were drifting, im no nimrod. Yeah i would recommend not buying $20 tires anymore. I would recommend some Sumitomo Srixon4 tires. I have em on my acura and they are so good. they ride great, and the grip is almost second to none, plus i got them, an alighnment, and all the other crap that goes with changing tires from sears for $400. thats for all4 after mounting, balancing, alighnment, warranty, new valve stems, and all that other BS...
Oh and btw, BIG V CHILL OUT, you spaz. you probably did it wrong, either that or youre S.O.L. cuz it may not work with digital speedo.

really? hmm... never heard that before... ive heard khumos are good, and i really wanted to get the BF Goodrich traction T/A tires for my acura, but they were a lil outa my price range.. I also like yokohamas, but theyre kinda rough riding
I don't know what to go with nex. Tires r so expensive and last a long time that when you buy something you live with it for at least a year. But I tell you 1 thing those Sumi's stop on a dime. But around turns i don't feel confident at high speeds compared to the worn down mixmatch Goodyears. Sumi's are def quiter.
dude these sumis are whisper quiet. The acura i have em on has ABS, but the accumulator is bad(a common probelm with these legends) and so it doesnt work. With the yokohamas i had,if i were to brake too hard, they would lock up, but these sumis are like glue... as far as cornering, they make me feel a lil uneasy while cornering at high speeds, but they havent really given any trouble, they just kinda feel funny
