this guy on 240sxforums.com put the ebay '''EPROM''' chip that is supposed to be made by a real nissan engineer for like forty bucs for his DE and he gained like 8whp dyno proven and I think it was still running conservatively rich. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NISSA...04 1190QQrdZ1

Only 8WHP, I can do that with an SAFC, and a 2 degree advancement at the distributor... Thats peanuts....
A really good tune should get you between 10-15whp......
But then again like you said it was running rich, the point of making power is to run it a little past stoich. I bet you that the ignition maps were just tinkered with a bit. All these hack guys do is leave the fuel maps the same and bump up the ignition timing, thats about it....
You can use iridium spark plugs and bump the timing at the distributor 8degress and get the same effect.

I apologize to anyone that may have not gotten a reply regarding ka24e ecu tunes. A couple weeks ago I had 4 people contact me on the same day complaining about these chips they bought on ebay, saying they didnt work etc.. (most likely due to improper installation etc..).

But, since it had nothing to do with me and I am currently in dispute with the seller, it did little more than add gas to the fire in that regard. Any reference to ebay in any emails will most likely be ignored.

I now have stage 4 NA available for all versions of the ka24e ecus. The price is $120.00 installed, or $45.00 for the parts (socket, chip) to install yourself.

DeviousKA I know your business has been more than fair. I have refered you to numerous people that are more than happy with your products..
I defenitely wouldn't worry.
Are your prices on OBD1 chips/daughterboard still $150?

I have limited ka24de tuning available (non-turbo) with the ka24de's I usually just sell hardware.

My daughterboards, blank, are $35.00 each.

daughterboards, tuned, $65.00

Tuned, installed, tested, $150.00

Actually, Im looking for a couple beta testers for some of the recent ka24de tuning development. I am willing to give some discount for anyone interested that can give me some decent feedback.

Stay away from ecu chip vendors on ebay. They are all scams and are not reputable, if they were they wouldn't sell there chips on ebay to begin with.
If I were you I would contact Gabe (DeviousKA).
