Angry two codes from check engine light

Hey guys, it's me again. My car(96 240) still has it's check engine light on after resetting it. It popped two codes, 440 and 446. I'm a little tight on money and i'm not sure if these codes will be a major to fix. If i can do it myself, i would. 440=evaporative emission control system malfunction. 446=evaporative emission control system vent control circuit malfunction.
Somebody please let me know if i can fix this my self, thanx.

i would say since you are a OBDII car, i would say that they would either be related to the cat but i doubt it , or most likely the EGR system, which is the same problem w/my eclipse. but it doesn't hurt you as far as idle or driving but just hurts yur mpg a little

i'm pretty sure it's realated to the egr. My gas has been burning up too fast. It seems like my car's performance is slipping maybe from pulled back timing. I'm thinking it's more on the lines of the evap canister.

thanx for the reply
