There is unburnt gas comming out my exhaust. Anyone know what might cause this?

 

Bad timing?

 

anything else. it did not start doing this until my car caught fire when the power cord for the amp hit metal, was glowing hot, burnt my positive cable a little bit but car still starts. BUrnt up my ecu and engine wiring harness but both of those have been replaced. Anyone know of any other problems this fire could have caused. Car was not running when cord caught fire.

Oh, just remembered, bad spark plugs? Might wanna replace any damages wires too. Just to be safe.

 

even if you replaced wiring, maybe something might have shorted out elsewhere on the car that you don't know about... My guess is that it's ignition related (why else would you have unlit fuel in the exhaust) if it's something else then you have a major problem
