vaccum problems...

89 240sx with DE swap car run good and strong for long time till head gasket blew replaces head gasket and everything car ran strong when first fired up but noticed a coolant leak.. after fixing the coolant leak today we tried to start it again.. now there is no fuel pump signal.. but that is a different issue i am in the process of diagnosing.. but.. with the engine running you can hear a good strong vaccum leak.. and the motor idles like crap.. take off the vaccum line going to the air regulator and the aac valve and the noise goes away and it idles very strong (but also high) when you reconnect the line to the pipe.. or plug off the line it idles like ****.. there is no blockage of any kind on in around or near the pipe.. also there seems to be no vaccum from the ports on the intake pipe but strong vaccum in front of the mass..?? anyone have any ****in idea what the hell is going on?.... then we can start to mention that there is absolutly no throttle response whatso ever.. is my ecu toast? or do i just have some crazy *** vaccum issues?
