Valve stem seals

On the KA24DE's when abouts do the valve stem seals go? During idles and if i rev the **** out of the car it will blow a bit of blue...but it doesn't do it during normal driving. I am hoping its not the rings. Im at 186,000 kilometers. Around 113miles I think.

Is there an easy way to determine if its rings or seals?

do a compression test as a basis... all holes should be within 10% of eachother... then do a leak down test... thos will help isolate the problem... if it is only when you rev it then i would leam more towards valve stem seals than anything... if it were doing it all the time i would lean more towards the rings... either way it can be a pain...
