Why is my 240 bogging on accell slightly?? or am i just paranoid

Basically when I stomp on it off the line the tires dont peel.. its almost like I have traction control on, is this the VLSD? and when im accelerating it feels like someone is pulling on my bumper or something, almost like im not getting enough fuel. My engine sounds like its working much harder then the speed im going however the clutch is fine.. It goes like **** once your in the mid-top rpm band, a pleasure to drive.

I just got a tuneup with
-4 NGK Platinums
-Cap+Rotor
-Fuel Filter

Oil is fine but i'll be changing it for 5W30 Synthetic fairly soon.

the only mod this car has is a Conical K&N Filter at the end of the stock tubing, should I get full out CAI? how restrictive is the stock tubing? thx

CAI are a waste of money. Try cleaning your MAFS.

Yeah what I got sounds badass and im getting plenty of air.. How do you clean the MAF? it looks like a sealed unit. is there two? On my 5.0 Stang id just have to unscrew it and pop her out in 10 seconds.

and you use throttle body cleaner right?

the bogging is most noticable off the line but occurs througout the rpm band.. im pretty sure its fuel related, same with my mechanic friend.

well if u think it is fuel related and try a quick thing pull the vacuum line off of your fuel pressure regulator... and plug the line and the fitting on the regulator ... this will bump your fuel pressure by showing the regulator full throttle and therefore giving you raised fuel pressure from about 36 psi or so on idle to 46psi at idle .... it is a kinda like a little jump off the line ... def improves throttle response .. so yeah give that a try...
decreases fuel mileage slightly not too noticeable though...
good luck !

will running rich like that damage anything long term? i dont want to do anything half ***.. I took her out on the highway today and it FLIES.. I might just be paranoid. my friend is gonna put a fuel pressure gauge in my line and were gonna see if im getting proper fuel.

I'll try your advice for a bit and see what happens, thanks!

This may sound retarded, but have you done any recent brake work to the car? I did my back brakes once, and then went ahead and tightened my e brake cable a little to much, and ended up have very simliar problems, try lifting the back of the car up off the ground, and give your back tires a free spin. You never know
