been there done that lol its an honest mistake..check your vac hoses..see if any are leaking or not connected...also is the car missin or what..how *****y is it actually running.. try pulling the connectors off the injectors whiles the engine is idleing if one doesnt cause a drop in engine speed theres a miss on that cyl and maybe thatll help u narrow it down..(although u probably already no this)

np..if the motor shakes tremendously like mine did when a cylinder was dead (bad injector) id look into the injectors..check your firing order also..maybe the dist is liek 180 out..or soemthing ..hope you figure t out

well they robbed me good... i went for a test drive and it was running great... had great power... temp was fine and there was no noise...

then later in the day i went over to a friends house to help him pull a transmission and about 20 min into the drive the temp gague pegged so i pull over real fast and shut her down... popped the hood and noticed there was no water boiling over... opened the oil cap and about died... huge amounts of smoke start streaming out... fried oil stinks like hell... waited for 20 min did an oil change right there on the highway and cut open my oil filter... full of metal and brass... went to start it up and she knocks like mad... this motor is shot ... there goes a new set of rods and the crank i spent so much money on...

the problem is in the crank... i have had no luck with ist since i started... i bought a crank and had it machined... then found out that the flywheel bolt holes were messed up and only half tapped out... so i got a new one... and installed it... then i lost the timing chain tensioner... this time i spun a bearing... i think that it is because the rod journals were turned too much and did not fit the rods i had bought... i have had bad luck with parts that i have bought not in the work... im going to pull the motor apart and see what happened... but i will put mone on the number 2 or 3 rod bearings failing... which now has trashed my crank...

so i start again with something else... see if i can get it all going again...

as far as no luck with building na motors... there are 4 of them running around here... 2 of them were on the boards at one time... i havent seen them round but they have not called me saying they had a problem...

we will see when i get another motor and pull this one apart...
