From: QBORO, NYC, USA.....

today i saw two motorola talkabouts (sold as a pair) for $30 in Target............they only have 14 channels tho

I would try and stay away from those. You will not be able to get our broadcasts.

We usually hop on one main channel and then pic a sub channel.

EXAMPLE: 6-11

If you get the 14 channel model you will only get 14-0.
