02 Rsx

I'm new to this forums, I drive a 02 acura rsx type s. I'm thinking about selling it and getting a daily driver car something cheap, and then getting a 95-98 240sx and build it up. I wanna know what y'all think of the 240's and the rb engines, so I dont make the same mistake twice ;P

What's wrong with the rsx? It has a k20 and that's really all that matters, a mistake would be getting the base model. However if you're going the 240 route, that sounds like a nice plan but with the money you will get from a type s you can already get a kouki s14. Daily that around, and save for your motor. As for rb's however, I might be one of the few guys who dislike them because I think they're heavy and rendered obsolete when there is the option of getting an sr with much all around potential.

for some reason i never liked the nissan VG or VQ engines... anyway if you go RB bring out the big $$$$ cause if you only have enough money just to swap it in your gona feel bad when you go to the track and the guy that spent half the money and time you did spank you with a built KA-T.

if you dont really care and you just want it cause its an rb that thats cool too though

S'ok, I'm not fond of the vg or vq's either. Heavy, big, troublesome and rendered obsolete with so many cheaper and lighter options such as the little four bangers that could or COUGH LS1 COUGH. just IMHO

i like VQs.

VQs with ITBs that is (my dream). haha.

but yea, what was this thread about?

dude.

get a DC2 integra GS-R, get a 240.

coilovers and wheels for the GSR.

build up the 240 with whatever money you have left.

realize the integra handles better than the 240.

like the 240 better anyways.

get coilovers, 5 lug and dope wheels for 240.

love 240.

become dope.

since we talking Honda...... after i get done with my ka build, im picking up an CRX Si and dropping an B18b into it for a lil mean modified auto x car.... i worked on hondas so much im surprised i never owned one...

No vtec you ask.......... yup because ill surely boost it, im not a NA guy in no way.

lol you can have vtec and boost lol my friend has a boosted b16 in his 91 CRX Si
you can make a built LS Vtec then boost it, not hard

k20's are too much trouble thats all i have to say about the rsx. I love the car its a great car but can't really have fun w/ it because its fwd... yea i'm going to get a 95-98 body style 240. still dont know if i wanna get the rb motor or the sr motor. but i'll know in a few months . good luck w/ that b18b
