2008 Chicago Auto Show (ZR1 and GTR in the same building!) Lots of pics!

Went to the 100th Chicago Auto Show yesterday and took over 100 pictures, so 56k (does anybody even use dial up anymore) you can see yourself out.

Hello Genesis Coupe. This was the first thing I went to look at, and listening to the company representatives talk about the Genesis platform, (as well as reps at other exhibits from GM, etc) RWD is definately the big thing right now on automakers' agendas.

i don't get the retro/futuristic blend of the new car designs. imo mid 80's to early 90's were when the cars reached their peak as far as looks go for modern cars anyway.

the 50's classics and 70's muscle cars though are the ones i really like.

The dodge Challenger was at the Pa auto show and those things are very nice.

But any way some of those cars are very gay. ( Yaris )

the hyundais - waste of pics
the BMWs - best display
the challengers - beastly rides
the nascar - lame as all are
the mitsubishis - hey where's the starion
the solstice - ugly as can be
the scions - actually impressive
the GTR - best of all

thats my evaluation

*EDIT* the ZR1 - where is the viper ACR that can whoop its ***?
the bullitt - just another mustang that I dont want to "ride"
the CRZ - still thinking of a response

Cmon now, I dont think the GTR is bad at all. The only one that looks better is the R34.

i agree about japanese cars, i was referring to american cars though i should have clarified. however, i still think that the s13>>>>s14 and s13=s15. but that's just me so feel free do disagree.

You should see the GTR in person, it has no presence. It looks like a glob of the good attributes of every other idolistic car, absolutely doesn't have presence of the r34 even because at least that car's hard lines were agressive as ****.
