Is that a lug nut from a MAX spacer I spy on one of those studs?

Bad part however, my hoshinos don't clear these brakes. I have to get probably a 5-10mm spacer to run them in front. The mesh and rewinds BARELY clear. Another bad part is that I'm having a little trouble getting the top nut off the rear coilover to remove the pillball mount. It'll all soon come together
you got me convinced now henry..this car is gonna be dope..its officially on my list of cars that i cant wait to roll with...its the suspension overall and brake system that is makin this car..keep it up bro..

Ok guys, I accomplished something today and I'm pretty proud. The rear is in.

But first off, I covered some holes and sealed them off. Looking pretty good. Only those two small holes left in the firewall and I'm all plugged up.

So here are the rear coilovers disassembled

LUCKILY, the pillowball upper mount sleeves were the exact size I needed. It fit directly into one side of the bottom mount and the hole was the exact size of the bolt that mounts it. Perfect.

It only filled up half of the bottom mount though, so I found these at orchard to fill in the rest of the hole

Bottoms are mounted, washers are fit in to fill up the length of the mount

And there you have it, with my 5x8 16kg rear springs

Here again with my brakes in

And with the wheel on, this is how it looks in the air and no horrible *** camber(yet) Yup, no more droopy wheel when I jack up the front or rear. That **** is tight, it'll go lower don't worry

You're comfortable with the bottom mount? Thats a plastic piece that the bolt is sitting on isnt it? Anyways, i like the use of skateboard parts lol.

it looks like nylon, and whats the worst that could happen?

worst case scenario is probably just buying steel spacers from orchard.

Oh yeah, the bottom mounts are great. It's super tough nylon, haha. It'll hold I'm sure. If it doesn't it'll just crack and still be in there, and I'll change it out. Alls well right now

^sadly no, I don't have max spacers

copied from clubs12

So I spent pretty much the entire morning fixing things here and there, putting the sway bar on and etc etc. I seriously spent ****ing forever putting that addco rear sway bar in because at first(for a long long time) it didn't seem to fit. It just didn't line with the mounting locations, after finding out that it was indeed the correct part number I just hulked the **** out of it until it fit. Also, I tried using the addco endlinks that came with the swaybar and I have to warn you guys that my sway bar was actually hitting the trailing arms because it was a short endlink. It might be because how high up the arms are(because of the lowness), but the z31 endlinks that came with the master bushing kit worked out great because it was about 1 1/2 inch longer. More great news, I found out my rear calipers are seized. The piston most likely rusted to **** inside while they were laying around for half a year. I might just get rebuilt ones with a core exchange. I'd rebuild them but I'm sure as hell they are rusted to all damnation. Anyway, a couple pics

lol that sucks, its been half a year since your car ran? feels longer and shorter at the same time...

is that normal for calipers to seize in such a short time?
