I was lookin at that Turbo on the Altima...who owns that?? I got some questions. The F-max site says it's for like a 93-98 or somethin like that. WOuld it work on a 2001...or did you have to fabricate certain parts?? Man that is SWEET!! I made 18 grand last year, so as soon as I get my tax returns...Turbo...here I come!!! GImme more details!!! GIMME GIMME GIMME!!!

 

Whcih turbo altima? Most of the parts would fit but becuase no one makes an ECU for you, i dont know what you do about that. It is possable, i just dont know though.

Well, there's a guy in Florida who's done it, and I was hopin he'd pop up on here. I forgot his username. Had the white altima. I was just hopin that I could get some info from him...but looks like nothing so far...but thanks for the help guys.

 

I think GOKU and Y2Ksomething-or another...have 2 gen turbo setups...fully custom I believe.

 

Yeah, Y2K custom built a turbo on a 2nd gen and GOKU did a custom turbo on a first gen (non F-Max).

and Y2k only ran a 15.4 or around there.. but that was un-tuned.

 

15.4 w/ a turbo...I guess so if it was untuned...

 

3 psi of boost and automatic. So I would say that's like a 50 shot of nitrous. 17.3 --> 15.4

 

Well since F-max makes the turbo kit for the first gen altima...why won't it work for the second??? as you can tell i'm new to this... Couldn't you send the ECU to JWT and have them remap it for you? It's running the same engine so I don't see what the problem should be? Oh yea, does the F-max kit come with a Header? I just see Turbo Manifold on the list. And what does the turbo run off of? I was talkin to this with my pop...and he keeps tellin me that the Turbo is run off cold air pumped through the CAI...and I keep tellin him it's run off exhuast gases....i'm confused now...

 

Turbos are still so damn expensive
