Anyone else COMPLETELY OBSESSED?
Yeah, so I was just wondering if I was the only person completely obsessed w/ cars. I got a 2000 mustang gt back in 2000, and for about a year now I've been thinking quite alot about what car to get next. Started at an S2000, then 350Z, then Eclipse GSX, and now 240sx. Who else admits to having a problem?

yep i admit....i too have a problem....but learn from me young one. you can never totally be rid of this "problem" but you will learn to control it.
i had bought a brand new 96' Civic EX Coupe, This was gonna be my college vehicle. when the import craze hit TN in late 96' i was ready for an integra/RX7/300ZX. But i thought, nope that would be too expensive and impractical. so i just horded money from here and there to buy bolt-ons for the civic.
This was a mistake. if i could do it over again, i would've saved my money and gotten a better vehicle. (not to say that a civic is bad, it's just that after all the usual bolt ons and countless sets of rims. i came out spending alot of money and still only had a car with 150hp @ the wheels(yes, i dynoed it)
so after college came the S2000....(yes it took me 6 yrs) after 1.5 years i decided i'd rather build a house, so the S2K had to go. so along came the current car, 91' S13 coupe. i've put $3400 on this car so far.
$1200 car
$1000 paint
$1200 rims/tires/sportlines/kyb's
so, until the house is finished this will be my car. i guess the lesson is there are TOO many used cars for under $10k out there that i like....Integra GSR,Del Sol, 240sx, 300ZXTT, 99-01 Civic SI. all the previous cars can be bought and modified to run 13's for under $10k. make sure you prioritize and think things out thoroughly. alot of planning can save alot of money.
after everything but the mortgage is paid off, I'm getting a 95' NSX-T. of course i'll still have the S13 as a daily, who knows, it may be a KA24DET.
hope this didn't seem like a lecture,...
