"BLACK BANDITS"


The opponents:

Dixon Ticonderoga BLACK 1388-2
Papermate Black Warrior black

:Looks:


With the grenn and yellow markings on the Dixon it was clear it had better style. Although the Warrior did have gold and red it was just all fake in my opinion. It was not the best quality either. Though having a shiny black surface it was too slick and often cause "hand slippage". The Dixon had a flat sticky surface which allowed superior performance.


:Eraser:


The Warrior had the rougher eraser and did about the same as the Dixon as far as clean erases. The Dixon overall in my opinion had the better eraser though cause of the softness and the durability.

:Overall:


Overall the Dixon wrote smoother and better with less "flake". It was very smooth and I highly recommend the Dixon. The Warrior was Ok and did well but was not the upper class pencil.

:Conclusion:

If you want a dependable pencil with all the "works" the Ticonderoga black is a great buy. It did better in every catagory and took the glory away from the so called "Black Warrior".
