Hey everyone, been browsing the forum for the past week or so. Here in Portland and I just got a black on black leather 95 auto with 106k on it. For the past couple years I've had a 1997 Maxima http://www.cardomain.com/id/visitingreality which I totaled about 2 weeks ago. Decided to get something more my style, found this s14 that seems in good condition.
Time to start modding.
What are some good intro mods? There are some great bang for the buck mods for every car, suggetions? I planning on turboing the ka vs swapping in an sr. This car will be my daily driver. Ordered an FSTB even before I got the car, goin for the RSTB next. You guys on coilovers what do you suggest for a good all around ride with crisp handling? Other good suspention mods?
I'll probably do a 5spd cov but I do have an interesting mod for the maxima (parting it out) that I would like to try and adapt to the 240. It's a manumatic mod. Black box, you tap some wires into the TCU and some more into the cruise control buttons to shift up and down when you're in manumatic mode.
Are there pre-cats in the 95 s14? I'm going to add an intake and perhaps headers, but I might not just because I plan to go turbo.
I hope to get to know some people, have some fun modding and learn a lot about the 240.

Welcome. So is it a Se or Base? You may want some nice OEM Se stuff if its a base. Like, se lip, wheels, etc.

I'm reading as much about 240's as I can. Seems like a great car. I have the full option package, black leather interior, fogs, spoilers, moon roof. It's a sweet ride.. I just changed out the spark plugs and the fuel filter, gonna do some more maintenence stuff today and put on some clear side markers. Thanks for the info. Anyone have an option on good brands of coil overs?
