Oh yeah, the pics are really nice bro. Too bad youre not in Norcal. My car could use a photoshoot haha You should put full res up too and force 56k-ers upgrade haha
Thanks bro, I'll get some full res pictures, they're just so huge that my server would go crazy trying to hold them

I do still have the Miata, it's still a good toy as well, wait until you see what's done to it, she's going to be quite the time attack vehicle.

Having just recently learned the differences (as minute as they are) I'll cover them in sections:

First, the BORING stuff:

--Low production number in terms of Mustangs (only 5500 made and only in 2001 --now again in 2008--)
--Spoiler delete
--Side vents deleted
--Different bumpers and skirts
--More prominent faux hood scoop
--Only 3 colors available (Dark Green is the most available followed by Pure Black then at the very bottom of the availability scale, True Blue at only 700 available)
--No automatic option
--Real leather seats stitched to resemble the seats of the 1969 390 Mustang used in the movie "BULLITT" and more bolstering.
--Mach 460 Sound System
--Special Font-Face for the gauges (I think it's a significant upgrade from a standard GT)
--Red Calipers with the "Running Mustang" logo
--Aluminum Shift **** and Aluminum Billet pedals.

Now for my FAVORITE part of owning a Bullitt . . .

THE FUN CHANGES:

-- Cobra intake and throttle body
--Under Drive Pullies
--13 Inch Front brakes and 11.5 inch rears with 4 piston calipers all the way around designed by Willwood. (they stop you like nothing I've ever driven)
--Revalved Tokico Struts
--1" Drop over a Standard GT with springs by Ford Racing
--Polyurethane sub-frame connectors
--Bigger Sway Bars
--Advanced Chassis Bracing
--Stronger Rear End (which doesn't matter because the previous owner put a full gear-type locker in it) <--- Fun for drifting, LMAO!
--Free Flow Exhaust tuned by Ford Racing (my exhaust is the Delta Force II cat-back with American Thunder mufflers)
--Upgraded cam
--Lightweight Crank
--Stronger and retuned T5 transmission
--Torque-Thrust knock off wheels that are surprisingly light weight and very expensive (500 bucks a piece if you buy them from Ford and not that far off if you buy a nice set second hand)

I really enjoy driving it and the look I get from people, she's a head turner. Although, I found that in owning this, everytime I pull up to a redlight, people take it as a challenge. It's always the slowest cars that want to race me as well. I even get people that say "Hey! You wanna go?!"

You guys know me . . .I'm like "Go where?" HAHAHAHA! They leave the line spinning tires and I'm looking at them like "Ooooookay?" I still like having some torque-fun on the way home but street racing isn't my bag, you know?

Nice, I always thought about getting this chassis mustang. Make sure to post up your pics and vids when you take this thing out to the track.

BTW Whats the steering angle like on this one? I know the newest ones are pretty lame as well as the fox bodies (like 88- 92's I think). I'm guessing this one is no better.

they look like sliding calipers in the pictures?

cool information on the car. i always wondered. i'm guessing some of the things you listed the previous owner did to this particular car, not all a part of the bullitt version.
the move bullitt was great. chase scene is nothing compared to the chase scene in Ronin. For the day it was made, pretty good.

Yeah, it's not that great, I mean, it can strap you down into your seat in a tight turn at speed, but going slow around turns doesn't wow me on this one like my BMW's did. My 540i had a turning radius that was barely larger than the car. This car . . .not so much. . .

Actually the only things the previous owner did are the Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Back system and the locking differential. They come with a free flow exhaust but I've heard the stock exhaust, while it is meaty, it's no where near as mean as this system is, especially when just firing up in the morning. Everything else listed, including the free flow exhaust is completely from the factory as they rolled off the showroom floor (or parking lot or whatever, HAHAHAHAHA). I think the only thing I forgot to mention is that they get an extra disk in the stock LSD bringing it from a triple clutch diff to a 4 clutch system. I don't know how LSD's work in detail so for all I know that could just be to say "Hey look . . . one more disc . . .give us more money!"

HAHA!
