I like the steps.

That can get expensive but I wouldn't complain about 25psi of boost 15 grand later You'd be sitting in 11sville easy.

o and btw, his del sol is a VTEC, so duz that mean it weights 25--lbs? sweet, this will be no challege.

On the site it says stage 1 gives you 7psi. They say that you can get UP TO 240. It all varies on the car you put it on. If you have a strong engine it will work well but on a weak one it will not perform as well. How many miles do you have on your car? Eventually the car looses compression after a while as well. It varies by the car. Your certainly not guaranteed the hp it says. But it will be enough. It also depends on how well the turbo is set up. I had a friend who put a turbo on a Celica GT. I really dont know how much hp it said it would give him. When he put it on his dyno it wasn't pushin out as much as he thought it would. (85% I think he said.) But with a few tweaks he got it as close as he could.

That would be a very good race. Like Im With Stupid said... tape that because It will be a very good race.

P.S. I did some reading on the H22. I think it only gives you 180 hp (as far as I know) and that the swap is very difficult and recquires quite a bit of fabrication. It's not the cheapest thing in the world either costing about 4-5K as well. But he will certainly weigh less than a 240. Overall, it seems that you will probably have a slight edge.

Hope this helps.

The newest H22s give out 200hp, yes the del sol will weigh atleast 2500. Plus, ur turbo should be spooling at lower RPMs than VTEC. VTEC is most commonly at about 5k RPM not to mention there is NO VTEC in 1st gear. Launch with a spooled turbo and ur good to go. Not to mention the dif in weight transfer between fwd and rwd...

Oh and did I mention ur car will look better while doing it? :P sorry, i hate how del sol's look

No doubt it'll be a good run, but I think you'll take him.
