used car lots at one point in time would use acrylic powder to temporally seal or reduce oil leaks. maybe that's where he got the idea.

yea, but still... if i add anything to my oil or my coolant, i make sure that i know what it is, what it does, and if i'm doing it right. i researched seafoam for like 3 hours before using it the first time, just to be sure.

hey cronux how did you use seafoam? did you just put it in the vacuum line or in the gas, oil, and vacuum? i have been looking into that stuff and i have seen a bunch of differnt ways its used.

Honestly, why would you not read the directions?

P.S. Seafoam is cool as hell when you use it through the brake booster vacuum line. You can drive around town making insanely thick clouds of smoke.

Just buy a bottle of seafoam, and follow the directions for using it in teh vacuum lines. For a minute afterwards your exhaust will be making smokescreens everywhere.

you should probably specify about it being added to the gas. i'm assuming that's what you're referring to.

nope just through the vaccum line, my last tank of gas i got about 240 miles and after seafoam my current tank is at 280 and i still got some left

i was assuming it was in the gas because thats when i've noticed a gain in mpg myself.
