Finally got my new car

For some reason it seems a little more boxy than the other 240's on the forum....maybe I got the wrong car
Anyway here's the specs from the for sale ad:
1988 BMW 325e
Black exterior
*MINT* Black sport interior with armrest and ski pass through.
132k miles

Motor:
88 325e
M30 injectors
M30 AFM
3.0 bar FPR
"i" head swap
K&N Filter

Head swap:
Re-manufactured "i" head
"i" intake manifold
"i" Throttle body
173 ECU
"i" cluster (still have the stock "e' cluster)

Transmission:
Stock 5spd
New OEM clutch
3.73 diff

Interior:
Originally tan, swapped in a MINT Black sport interior
Rear seat with arm rest and ski pas through
Tan carpet right now (black is on its way)
now some pics

So far all I have started doing today is getting rid of the sound deadening tar in the rear. Not much time to even say hello to my car before going back to college tomorrow so I am very sad. Probably won't even see it for 3 weeks but oh well.

lol i put the tags around them originally but they were the email/im link from photobucket so it took me awhile to figure out what was wrong.

As for the car, I prefer the older BMW's for weight reasons, not to mention I like the e30's a lot more than the e36's in every category almost which are the two generations that were in my price range. Right now I am trying to see if I want coilovers or springs, bilsteins, and swaybars.

its not quiet as clean as it looks, I need to replace the sun-roof panel because there is about a baseball sized case of rust, and there are 3 dash cracks and a tear in the passenger side roof liner. The interior seat are brand new though and very nice, car mechanically is in awesome condition. Other than a few cosmetic problems here and there it is a great car.

It will look a lot better once I drop it and get some new bumpers to replace the chrome diving boards on it.

Gotta love BMW!

^_^

But then again, I'm a bit biased . . .who knows . . .you might just inspire Stig to pick up a 4th BMW and go from there, LOL!

I can hear Donny (biggamehit) now:

"Dave! What are you DOING man! Leave the Bimmers alone! You've had too many you car *****!"

LOL!

Love ya big bro! ^_^

Anyhow, nice Bimmer, gotta let me take it around the track when it's ready!

-Stig

you really are A.D.D. when it comes to cars lol. Will most definetly let you take it out though, the local auto-x group starts in March I believe so thats what I will be up to mostly. If I head to any events down in GA though(my home state after all) I would love to let the black stig take it for a spin.
