Well I just found out that instead of my car's motor being a bastard in a bad way(325E to 325I head swap) or just being the same as a regular 325i, it is actually better than the I. I didn't know the E has a longer stroke, so I really have an E30 327 now, obviously pushing out 2.7 liters with the longer stroke. What this boils down to is about 10+bhp from the engine according to wiki(but that doesn't mean much) and I am also going to check out my ECU Saturday to see if it is a EAT 173 chip and which one(the stuff in the op is from the for sale ad so I didn't put 2&2 together). If it is I might be pushing out even more horses.

Sadly being 80 miles from my house means I can't drive it much and I just get to think about it. It is driving me crazy! Though I do love discovering that instead of being a bad bastard, your car is a good bastard!

Ordered my coilover set, so just throwing out the images I have before I get them on.

Only difference between these pictures and now is that my lowbeams are yellow now and my kidney grill is flat black. To give you an idea of what I am going for, here is my brothers m50 powered 325e.

looks nice. but why not get a E30 M3?

anyway, it seems like the redline is actually higher than the E46 330i.

Thanks man, main problem with how my car looks, other than height right now, is the chrome diving boards on the front and back lol. The bumpers are HUGE, but they will remain that way until I get some plastic ones like my brother's and friend's. Other than that, my paint job has a lot of scratches on the trunk, I broke my passenger's inside door latch(just a reason to tell people they can't ride with me lol) and a few dash cracks.

Cosmetic **** I know, which is why I am worrying about performance stuff right now to get ready for auto-x and maybe the Redline challenge at GT-Live this year.

And to Spade, an E30 M3 would cost much more, like 10k more for a cheap *** one. I would love one, but I don't have the cash heh. Talk about a mean 4-cylinder! I think my limiter is around 6500rpms as I don't think my ECU has been tuned right for the stroker motor I have yet.

Older bimmers are sick. Newer ones are nice too.... but they arent old school.

I was actually thinking about getting one to set up for drifting but........ would probably be expensive....... maybe I'll do one eventually.

You can get a car like mine for the same price as a S13 and will have more power and more baller status than a stock s13(well that depends on who you talk to). Parts are what will probably be expensive, but I get my stuff for like half price through my brother who works at Bimmerworld. 1000 dollars off my coilovers ftw!

You can get a 5-series from the 80's for even cheaper than most 3-series if you want to go in that direction, but i think parts are even more expensive for them.

yeah i was refferering more towards the parts than the car. I would want a n/a w/itb beast and i know that would get retardedly expensive.

So a thousand off of coilovers? So how much are they?lol
