Got my car dyno'd

I got my Subaru dyno'd the other weekend. Tell me what you think of the results:

Keep in mind that this was done on a AWD dyno (approx. 28% drivetrain loss to the wheels)

Estimated crank HP: 264HP
Estimated crank torque: 285 lbs/ft

What's up with the estimated crank hp bullshyte?

Crank hp can be obtained only one way - by running the motor on a brake dyno.

Stick with the chassis dyno numbers - which are damn nice! THAT's a nice fat torque curve!

I didn't realize Subaru engines cut off the fun at such low rpm's.

i wanna hear what type of 1/4 mile times you are getting..
my friend boosting 6 psi
is getting down the track at low 13's
but that was when he had the stock 99 maf..
everytime he hit redline...
the freaking maf would go bye bye
and would be in limp mode..

damn i hate maf sensors

Yeah I'm not too worried about 1/4 mile times right now. As you probably already know the tranny's on our cars are pretty weak specially for drag racing. I will get some times soon.

Also did your friend dyno his on the Mustang Dyno or a Dyno Jet? There is a pretty big difference right there and also what the ambient temp was inside the place. The Dyno Jet gives higher results. I will dyno it on a Dyno Jet soon just to compare the two results.

I went to a Dyno shoot out and it cost $75 for two base runs. Not bad I guess.

To get low 13's at 6psi he must be ******* the tranny
What are his trap speeds?
