Hey, I thought Id come straight out and tell you guys, i got a Honda,,, odyssey... but its cool,

so anyways, I am having trouble starting it, does anybody know what it takes to convert from pull start to electric start? In Case you haven't guess yet, its an ATV, not a minivan.

HELP ME!

 

honda odyssey... isnt that more of a gocart/rail type thing? I think four wheeler when I hear atv. if you're having trouble starting it, make sure the plug wire is connected to the plug securely and if its got the switch to turn it off, check that over good too...

if you are converting to electric, I dont think you can buy a starter that stays on the engine... what you can get though is a spin up motor that you hold and it attaches to the crankshaft (its electric btw) and when its cranked you pull it off. I used to have racing carts. but that was years ago, so maybe they have a kit now to put a starter on.

Hey my mom has the 7-seater Odyssey

 

I finally got it started with the rope starter, but it died before I could keep it running long enough to drive it up the street, and then i tried to start it again and the rope broke, :doh: omg sooo lame. anywho, my friend did manage to find an electric starter for honda 250s,,, like 250 bucks, so Im just gonna work on fixing my rope starter. but I have been playing with my new s14 too much to even look at my Honda... ohh well.
