Damn dude, you must have had to try to fail like that.
Take summer school and correspondence, lots of summer school. Figure out if that's enough to graduate, you still may have time. Also, have you thought about going to trade school after getting your Good Enough Dude? I used to work with a guy who dropped out of high school and he joined the IBEW and became an electrician, he's making 35k or more a year now.

Seriously--take summer school like RyGuy said if you can. Definitely try your damn best to pass highschool, man. I know it can be difficult at times, but hell, you'll be glad you did.

If not, definitely go with the GED, and then go to COLLEGE. I slacked off so much in college...dropping classes, skipping out to party, everything, man. Now, I'm looking at where I'm at, and I definitely don't like it. Next semester, I'm back full time; taking EVERYTHING I can. It's going to be a struggle, but I'm 22. I should have graduated a semester ago with my friends, and to see them all go their separate ways, get their jobs, MOVE out into places of their own...

...It sucks. Higher education is the way to go. I still have the view that "what does a peice of paper tell someone's better than someone else?", and I still think it's stupid that the world works like that, but unfortunately it does. I actually used to go to automotive school right after highschool. I was there for almost a year and a half, and realized that it's really HARD WORK.

Once you get a college degree (and maybe even higher), you can make more money definitely. There are technicians that are genius and make loads of money, but they still work harder than people with college degrees man. Work smarter, not harder. Good luck.

i had an employee who was home school. idea of home school? he read the bible. that was it. we got some encouragement and learned he wasn't a complete idiot. within' a year he went to school and got his ged, and got into college (easy one but college none the less).

get your ged. and go to school. like cars? go for some sort of engineering degree. forget being a grease monkey it sucks.

Plus, remember the old saying- the cobbler's children have no shoes. If you work on cars for a living you will eventually hate even the thought of working on your own cars.

i work on cars on almost a daily basis (mostly accords). ***** work too, such as installing aftermarket springs, oil changes, installing ****ty *** body kits that dont fit anything, accident repair is really common as well, stupid *** ****.

but the point is, i never have TIME to work on my own car(s) but when i do i actually enjoy a lot. stuff that i would have hated to do is actually enjoyable because of how much i like 240s and hate accords.

when i had the cressida i hated working on that **** pile, actually i never worked on **** on that car.
