Justice!!!

Back in Nov 07' my car was broken into and my tools and gauges were stolen then noticed that 2 other cars got broken into right next to me also. We called the cops and they came made a report and took finger prints(which shocked me). After the cop left I called my insurance company but they didnt cover the stuff stolen so I figured I was out of like 200 bucks.

Then in Jan 08' I get a call from a number I didnt recognize and answer and come to my surprise its a police station saying they found the guy using finger prints they got off my car. They then tell me that I will have to go to court as a witness.

So I went to court and the guy got 5 years on 5 charges and I get 200 bucks for my stuff so I was thrilled.

Just goes to show that if your stuff gets broken into theres still hope.

That also goes to show the Richmond has decent cops! We had some cars broken into in our neighborhood, including 3 at my house, and all we got was a lecture about securing personal belongings. I couldn't believe that the cops were treating us like it was our fault that some punk broke into our cars.

hahahaha if you told someone here that the cops are decent im pretty sure you would get slapped in the face, the only reason i think the guy got caught was because he had alot of charges in alot of countys, but hey im not complaining he got caught.

lol I thought the idea of a nice VA cop sounded silly... maybe he was high, drunk, or had just recently gotten laid???

One good story after another, good to see a second happy ending to a Nissan incident!

Was it The Claw who broke into your car? LOL

glad you got your stuff back. Sucks you're like 1 out of 1,000,000 to actually get justice.
