Need Help on purchase!!

Alright I'm in a dilemma, should i keep looking for a 240 and be carless for awhile, or buy a 1987 Mazda Rx-7 GXL Turbo? problem is its a 2 seater, which aint bad, but could make some outings difficult, im not sure what i should do though, my dad is pressuring me, any ideas? has anyone ever rode in a Rx-7? or own one? HELP! the car has a rebuilt engine and a new turbo, only problem is the insides need some refixing (new seats, new carpet and so fourth) its a 5 speed.

I love rx-7's, but when i look at a rotary engine i turn away, i honestly have no idea what the hell is going on with them, if you plan on tinkering around and know rotary engines however, you have no problem. I love the looks of the last gen rx-7 but those are hella expensive, i was looking at one for a while, ive seen late 80's rx-7's look nice though, i would say 240 but thats poersonal choice, rx-7 does have turbo though, think it should come down to engine preference, check out the aftermarket as well. Both RWD so no worries. rx-7's are def. rarer! let us know what ya choose, also what are prices of cars your looking at?

dude have u seen gas prices lately?

but if gas wasnt so expensive and the 13b didnt eat gas like a H2 then i would go for it myself, but unless u have alot of money to spend on gas or dont plan on driving it much i would wait for a 240, but IMO i would love to own a turbo FC

so far ive found a couple of Second generation Rx-7's going around 1 - 2k, mostly rebuilt engines, as for 240s, mostly duds, like messed up engines or high mileage, or just really expensive for some reason, I've got about only 2k and some change, so my options are limited, i wanna stick with the RWD area though, cause i just like the feel and control alot better than FF cars, do you guys know of any other RWD cars? the only ones off the top of my head are the 86 corolla, 240sx, 300zx,Rx-7's....btw is the supra also RWD? i cant find any info on them for some reason, I"m also looking at this 1988 Toyota Supra, i think its twin turbo, it didnt really say...
