The new GT-R

hey anyone gots a chance to check out the new Nissan GT-R. Word around the dealership I work at is they just ordered 3 Gt-Rs. Cant wait to test drive these things. Apperently ther letting them go for $79 grand-$80 grand. I think I'll wait about 10 years before I buy one. By then a 2009 GT-R wil be around $30 grand. Anyone looking to purchase one any time soon?

why not? it can easily take a 911 or a Z06, probly a viper as well.

its a beast. no other word better describes it. thats the 2nd thing I'd buy if I won the lotto

because i am not and never will be a fanboy... in 3 months ill own an 89-92 gts-t that will make my heart happy.. i have wanted a r32 for the last 11 years or so

im sorry but driving a computer is just not appealing to me.. and i personally think all new car lack what the 80s and early 90s brought to the table..

thats the cliff note version.. i dont even wanna get technical lol

not to start a war.. but this car will never be in the same class as the R32-34 GT-R and will never accomplish what the three have on the track.

the R32 GTR is god..thats the end..

..and nissan has stated that the R35 WILL NOT take to mods very well...that makes me sad

and ps..vipers are a fail..in the same class as a Z06, 911, and GTR they don't stand a chance

viper FTL

only time will tell I suppose, but I have quite high expectations for it. even if it cant really be modded, if it can go 0-60 in 3.5 there is no need.

according to Jeremy Clarkson on the official top gear website the car is extremely fun to drive and he also said trying to push the car to the limit is like boardering insanity, just because its just hard to do it.

anyway i think its stupid to not like something just because it trails alot of fanboys and alot of people that dont know **** about it, they just like it cause of what people say.

i think its an amazing car and im proud to be a nissan owner. it may not be as easy to mod as the old cars but trust me it will be done prolly first by Mines just like the last GT-R.

the GT-R has always had top of the line gadgets to get it around corners so with todays technology why would u think it would not have all the things it does?

ok ok /end rant
