Please help a brother out!

Whats up guys. I've been browsing these boards for a while now, and recently decided to register. I have a few questions if you dont mind. I get my lisence in less than a month and im having a hard time finding a car that meets my expectations. I am in a pit right now trying to decide what car to get. I have a few cars in mind being 1. 95-98 240 se manual 2. vw g60(slc) manual 3.92-95 civic hatchback with some kind of swap or 4. 95 up integra gsr. Now all these cars have to be manual and have less than 100k miles and most important less than 6k. If you guys can point me in the right directions that would be great. I know this is a 240 biased forum but I need a car that doesnt require lots of attention, has lots of potential, and all around fun to drive. It really doesnt matter to me if the car is fwd, rwd. So somebody please point me in the right direction.

Thanks, and sorry for the long post.

The thing is that I like all of the cars i mentioned. My first choice would have to be the 240. But for some reason its hard to come by here in nj. I know the 240 along with the gsr and civic hatch can be real realiable. Its a hard choice when you like some many different types of cars, thats why I was hoping somebody here can point me in the right direction.

Have you ever looked into a Miata? They are real reliable, cheap(for the most part), for the most part they have been babied by previous owners.

But with your choices, the 240 might be any where from 5k-6.5k for the condition you want. Autotrader.com is a good place to look.

Im not really into miatas. And I know all my friends will make fun of me even thinking about buying one. I mainly posted this thread because I wanted to know what car I should look for. I wanted this forums opinion on which car would be best for me by the description I listed. Im open to other cars, so please help me out.

Thanks

It's hard to find a HB with less than 60k miles! GSR is nice car but pretty pricey! I think it gets the most potential! U can turbo or super charge them, tons of brand kits for gsr! I seem some of them had been tuned up to over 400 HP (i am not sure if u wanna go that far), gsr even have more potential than type R. S14 is nice car too! It has a very nice body design, and you can tune it to a drift machine! I will go both with s 14 and gsr if i have money. I think gsr maybe a better choice for u because they have more aftermarket parts out there, oh it gets a Vtec. You will like it! However, just keep in mind, they are just street car, don't think u can go too fast. On the track, either one will lose unless u wanna tuned it to race spec! no matter if u pick S 14 or gsr, enjoy it!
