I have known the guy since 7th grade and graduated with him in 2006. I just found out today that he killed himself. The viewing is tomorrow night. It really sucks, so far 2 guys have died in the past 6 months from our graduating class...How many more have to die so young?

Losing people happens man, it sucks I know I see this **** happen too much. ( Army Brat )

The one thing that makes me sick, is feeling bad for someone that commited suicide. Granted there are extreme exceptions, but feeling bad for someone that did that just is just giving the action of killin yourself power.
Thats why so many ****ers do it, cause they see how everyone feels when someone commits suicide.

I say **** that, its THE most selfish thing a person can do. "Wah wah my life is bad, im going to kill myself to hurt everyone that cares about me."

Everyone thinks about it atleast once.

Keep that **** outta your head and quit listening to hawthorne heights.

.end suicide rant.

Man, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I remember when one of my best friend's father died...it was weird, cause we were all there in the hospital during the final moments. I guess I didn't really know how to feel at the time, but all I could do was be there for my friend; it was tough times.

Will keep you guys in my prayers. Don't be so hard on yourself, man...wish I could say or do something to make you feel better, but I can't at all--I wish it were that easy. Sorry for your loss.

from what i have been told he only had 2 options: Continue in the Air Force against his will and have absolutely no control over his life OR take himself out of the picture all together. There was no thought about others and thats what hurts me. I am saddened because he didn't die fighting for control instead he gave up. I can't and don't want to comprehend suicide as a viable option. It am mad that he chose suicide as his way out, but I am sad because he was a really great guy.

there's nothing wrong with crying when it's called for. it's those that take their own life that i don't have much sympathy for.

but could we get back on topic before this thread get locked also.

I completely agree with you. Suicide is never the way to go. What I am upset about is that HE didn't come to that conclusion. I know that even when the worse happens, things might not be able to be fixed immediately. But you have to do what you can as long as you can and if fighting for your life kills you then you died honorably. He gave up. He completely turned his perception of life around and chose that path.
I have no sympathy for choosing suicide. But I am upset because he was such a great guy.
