That's where the big *** mall was. Like the Mecca of the SUV driving suburb living herd of soccer moms and teenagers are at. Yah I avoided that place. Rumor had it that it was like an IQ black hole. No wait that was working for the US gov sorry.

Big *** mall? You mean Montgomery Mall? It's not so big, but I dunno if it's the same mall that you're talking about. You're probably thinking of Potomac Mills Mall--that's like 45 min away. And yes, there are a lot of soccer moms mostly wives of multi-millionares. The Mecca of Lexus RX300's and Mercedes ML430's would be a way to describe Potomac, although when the weather is nice the M3's, M5's, Ferarri's, and 911's start to appear on the streets. Those are the "family" cars around here .

Haha, I'm guessing you don't really like the US govt? hahaha....

Not after having worked for them for any amount of time. A system designed where nobody ever gets fired or demoted isn't exactly encouraging motivation or hard work. If you don't do your job they just fire on another person to help you not do it. No thanks that was a major reason for the job and continent switch.

Japan's great for buying a car but not for road tax or the other stuff like gas. Its a fun place to visit but I'd rather of found a job in Australia or NZ.

Yeah, I'd love to see Japan before I die. But Australia seems to be the coolest place. I'd love to work there (after Italy, of course) but the plane ride is like 19 hours . But I guess it's worth it in the end, huh?

BTW do you go to Hawaii often for vacations? I know when I went to Hawaii there were A LOT of tourists from Japan, since it's pretty close by.

I'd never go back there. I went there once during high school and if I wanted crowded and expensive I'd take a trip to Okinawa Japan. Hell even Guam (yep I said Guam) would be a better choice. Guam still have old pill boxes from WW2 as well as the only place in the world where you can see a old WW2 Japanese submarine and a German submarine that were both sunk in the same spot. Actually sank in a V formation a few feet apart at the nose. Its also much cheaper and closer.

Don't you dare try to diss my Hawaii! That is the most beautiful place, granted Oahu had a **** load of tourists, but you should've gone to Maui....ahhhh Maui........now that's a secluded place with barely any tourists!

Guam? Never heard of Guam being a "vacationing" spot

Guam's a US territory so you can rent and drive a car there, its cheap, has all the things the US does, they speak English, its not crowded, one of the best spots in the world to go diving and its got alot of cool WW2 stuff left over. I have a friend who is working in Hawaii right now and he hates it. He said that in one month you could do everything there is to do there and be bored as hell the rest of the time. Not to mention the price of everyday staples of life is really high.
If I can find a job there I'll go to NZ in a heart beat but getting a opening there in the whole satellite field is kind of hard. I've got a autographed pic of Possum Bourne and everything. I assume everyone knows who he is. Won the Rally NZ race 6yrs straight. Makes some damn nice car parts.
