Question on Radar Detectors

I've had my 240 now for about a month and the other day i was pulled over by a cop for driving 82 in a 65. I know speeding is a bad thing but whats the point then in having a 240 if you don't want to go a little fast? So my question is where can I find a decent radar detector that isn't over priced and has all the features that I would want? and what are some of the features that I should be looking for?

240s are fun to drive without speeding... but if you must, try a more exotic car forum for some reviews.... i wouldnt buy one from walmart. if you go to cardomain.com i bet you could find a decent one in their store

^ not true... 8500 x50 and v-1 is a dead tie. screw what websites say i have an 8500 and my buddie has a v-1. the range is the same.

8500 has better laser detection
v-1 has arrows.

pick one of the two and you'll thank me later.

8500 x50 is the one to get.

It's so much better than V-1.

or you could also try not speeding..

surprisingly no, 2 years probation, a bunch of community service. they should have suspended his license for a couple of years.
