real estate license

as some of you may have observed, i am in the process of getting my CA real estate license. more and more i regret making such a quick decision, cuz the real estate market is going down fast, and supposedly wont be up again til 09, according to analysts. my point being, i paid 200+ bucks for something that wont be worth anything til a few years, and still have to renew. before i get too head first into this, anybody know of any cross-national real estate booms and/or differences of CA and other states' licenses. right now all is required is one class to get a CA license, but come Oct, multiple classes will be required, and the pass rate goes down by Nov, so not only is sales looking grim, but so is licensing. lemme know por favor

your liscense is only going to be worth what you get from it. I would suggest finding somewhere where there is a hot market, because inevitably there will still be some real estate hot spots. you just have to do a little outsourcing
