Funny funny funny, people's tastes are all different.
You have to deal with the 99.5% of dudes that mod their cars without a clue. They like what they see in a magazine and have no way of finding what they need to reach that level. They don't want to spend the money. They don't want to invest the time.
.5% stay broke, drive fast, turn hard and look good. They spend too much time reading about cars in magazines. They spend too much time researching parts and shops on the net and they learn from other people's mistakes.
Be a pal. Change a ricer for the better. Let's make the ratio better.
NOW if they step to you grind them into little itty-bitty pieces. Embarrass them in front of their chicks and show them that they should beware of the .5%s.

I consider strapping a giant aluminum wing to the rusty trunklid of doo doo brown 1986 Accord stepping to me.... so I proceed with the grinding to itty bitty pieces.

all that matters is speed..
hell everyone when they first get into cars go the rice path..
its especiailly easy if u own a honda..
yes i will admit..
i had altezzas on my car..

but that was about 3-4 years ago..
and i took them off and sold them for more than i bought them

The general public also helps grow "Rice."
A lot of people who don't know about cars are impressed by rice. I was walking with my friend the other day and we pass an eclipse with a huge double decker wing and body kit and my friend says, "now thats a nice car" (right after getting out of mine, which i interpretted as, "now thats a nicer car than yours.")
I didnt really care what he said, I could have probably dusted that eclipse. But it goes to show that a majority of the people judge by the outside, because they don't know what else there is. I think that encourages rice. Just putting in my .02
