That Sigma looks good, I'll definitely add that to my list.

that's not the sigma dave it's a m&p, the one you posted is a sigma. i've read complaitns about the sigma but only in 9mm. i haven't ran across anything about the 40 cal. also if you want a .357 semi auto you'll have to go with the .357 sig which i'm not 100% sure, but i don't believe it matches up to the .357 mag and fall short of the .38spl.

the mossberg persuader was going to be my first shotgun until i actually held it. i loved everything about it but it just didn't feel right.

battosaii930 03-26-2010 04:02 PM

i actually changed my mild i may go for the 932 just cause its semi-auto and i can get one for $480 with 2 barrels short one for home protection and 18" one for the range

ok.... i got a Stoeger Model 2000 semi auto shot gun with a 28" barrel.... its so sexy i get to pick it up next saturday

too bad we're scattered all over the u.s., otherwise we'd be able to organize an event like this one.

HKST04Z 04-03-2010 05:58 PM

yeah :| just complicates things that were all over the place and that we have different gun laws

handguard and some pmags

where did you get the mags, and have you had any problems with them?

HKST04Z 04-06-2010 03:46 PM

riflegear.com and so far ive had feed problems with the 10/20 round mags but no problems with the 10/30 mags

HKST04Z 04-06-2010 09:27 PM

ok so to supplement my previous post the magazines themselves are perfect just those two 20 round mags picture didn't have the anti-tilt mag followers which explains the great deal of jamming... so the mags are great! haha

USMCDrifter 04-07-2010 02:38 PM

anti-tilt mag followers? Please splain for us laymen . . .LOL!

mag followers are the things the bullets rest on and magpul made 2 different kinds. the first kind is the one picture on the bottom and these are the things i was having loading or jamming problems with, this is because the gun would load a round then when fired the bullets were tilting in the mag and the bolt wouldnt catch the bullet so it would either jam or not chamber a round.
Magpul found out about this problem and produced a new follower design pictured on the top. it is known as a self leveling follower or anit-tilt follower. the picture should explain most of why the old one would tilt and the new one shouldn't.

Edit: these followers pictured are not magpul ones, i just wanted to show the difference in design

also out of curiosity does anyone up here reload their .223's?

jramosthe1st! 04-08-2010 04:45 PM

i don't put enough rounds though my ar to justify the initial cost of reloading. that, and i can get a decent box of 20rds for a bit under $5, or a better round for about $8 per 20.

HKST04Z 04-08-2010 07:18 PM

well so far ive only payed for my .223 reloading dies, powder, bullets and primers, i have access to all the tools... so why not, you know?

USMCDrifter 04-09-2010 07:29 AM

I imagine that once I start hitting the range more, it'll become more and more cost effective to reload my rounds. I know those rounds cost a lot but right now .45 really isn't that expensive. I've been considering it though. Spend a good chunk of change, get one of those newfangled dem dare electronic loaders. . . .wooo dawgy . . .meanmyboysuknodatbecominroundhearnowboy!

LMAO!

Sorry . . .I got carried away . . .nah, I'd love to learn to reload and to be able to do it. Right now, my side arm is for personal/home defense so I can't get with the thousand dollar start up cost of doing that.

I'll let you know where I sit in a few months though ;)
