Can't beat the Craftsman lifetime warranty... and it makes me wonder why some people spend so much for other brands like Mac or Snap-On...

I have a Craftman socket wrench thats busted. It just slips is all. It came with a set from a while back, so do you think they would replace it? Even tho it came in a set?

dude - if you find a rusted stripped socket buried in the ground for 10 years and it says "Craftsman" on it, bring it to Sears and they replace it no questions asked... That's what makes their tools so worthwhile, plus the prices are good and the quality is good.

BTW that's a true story.

yea they will replace it no questions asked. Now then again if its a 1/2 inch drive with the extended handle weighing in at 45 dollars then they take it get your info send it to craftsman for a rebuild then ship it back to you. Still cost nothin but a little time consuming. But hey if you don't have a spare layin around then what are you thinking?

and to answer the other question yes this was an in-store sale/special.
